Candidates must already holda valid UAE visa/residency status allowing them to undertake the internship.MissionAs a Sales, Marketing & Digital Innovation Intern, you will support DEF Academy in accelerating its commercialgrowth across parents, schools, corporate partners and sponsors. The role combines business development, salesexecution, digital marketing and data-driven growth, from identifying new opportunities and generating leads tosupporting conversion and long-term partnerships. You will work closely with DEF Academy management andcollaborate with the Data Analyst (GoStat Analysis) to measure acquisition and commercial performance.Sales & Business Development
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities across Dubai
- Build and maintain a structured pipeline of prospects and opportunities
- Contact and follow up with potential customers and partners
- Support the full sales cycle: prospecting - qualification - meeting - proposal - follow-up - conversion
- Develop new revenue opportunities for DEF Academy
- Track sales KPIs, conversion rates and pipeline performanceSchools & Academy Development
- Identify and approach schools for after-school programs, academies, camps and sports partnerships
- Support preparation of commercial proposals and presentations
- Develop relationships with school decision-makers and sports departments
- Identify opportunities to expand DEF Academy into new locations and communitiesSponsorship & Partnerships
- Identify potential sponsors and strategic partners
- Support sponsor outreach and commercial negotiations
- Prepare partnership proposals and activation concepts
- Follow up existing and prospective partners
- Support the development of long-term commercial partnershipsParent & Player Acquisition
- Support acquisition campaigns targeting parents and players
- Follow up inbound leads and enquiries
- Help improve the customer journey from first contact to registration
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling between Academy, Futsal, Camps, Private Coaching and other DEFprogramsDigital Marketing Innovation
- Propose innovative digital marketing solutions including lead generation, funnels and automation
- Identify new tools and channels adapted to the Dubai market
- Test ideas, measure impact and iterate
- Connect marketing activities directly to measurable commercial outcomesData-Driven Growth
- Co-design campaigns with the Data Analyst
- Define marketing and sales KPIs
- Analyze lead sources, conversion rates and customer acquisition performance
- Translate data insights into actionable sales and marketing decisionsProfile
- Student or recent graduate in Business, Sales, Marketing, Digital Marketing or Entrepreneurship
- Strong commercial mindset and comfortable approaching new people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, autonomous and results-oriented
- Comfortable with prospecting and follow-up
- Strong interest in sports, football/futsal and the Dubai sports ecosystem
- Analytical and comfortable working with KPIs and data
- Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage
- Knowledge of the Dubai/UAE market is a strong advantage
