Spare Parts & Inventory Manager – Commercial Vehicles

🚛 Hiring: Spare Parts & Inventory Manager – Commercial Vehicles We are looking for an experienced Spare Parts & Inventory Manager to lead spare parts inventory, stock planning, procurement coordination, and warehouse operations for our Commercial Vehicle / Heavy Truck business in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial vehicle spare parts, with a proven track record in inventory management, demand forecasting, stock optimization, and parts availability.We are particularly interested in professionals who have gained experience across multiple countries/markets, not candidates whose experience is limited to the UAE alone. Exposure to GCC, Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, or other international commercial vehicle markets will be highly valued.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end spare parts inventory management for commercial vehicles/heavy trucks.Develop demand forecasts and inventory plans based on vehicle population, consumption, seasonality, workshop requirements and market demand.Maintain optimum stock levels while minimizing excess, ageing, obsolete and slow-moving inventory.Monitor stock availability, turnover, fill rates, backorders and inventory accuracy.Oversee parts ordering, replenishment and procurement coordination with OEMs, suppliers and distributors.Manage stock movements, goods receipt, binning, picking, issuing, transfers and returns.Ensure regular cycle counts, physical inventories, stock reconciliation and inventory audits.Work closely with After Sales, Service, Sales, Procurement, Finance and Logistics teams to ensure parts availability.Analyze parts consumption trends and identify opportunities to improve inventory productivity and working capital.Monitor supplier performance, lead times, shortages and backorders.Establish and monitor key parts and inventory KPIs and provide regular management reports.Lead and develop the spare parts/inventory team, driving accountability, accuracy and operational discipline.Drive process improvements, ERP/WMS utilization and best practices across parts operations.Ensure compliance with company policies, OEM standards, HSE and inventory control procedures.Requirements8–12+ years of experience in Spare Parts / Inventory Management, preferably within Commercial Vehicles, Heavy Trucks, Buses or Heavy Equipment.Strong technical and operational knowledge of commercial vehicle spare parts.Proven experience managing large and diverse parts inventories.Strong knowledge of inventory planning, forecasting, replenishment, stock ageing and obsolescence management.Experience with OEM/dealer parts operations and aftermarket environments.Strong ERP/WMS experience; SAP, DMS or similar systems preferred.Excellent analytical, planning, negotiation and team leadership skills.Strong understanding of inventory KPIs, working capital and cost optimization.🌍 International Exposure – Key RequirementCandidates should have multi-country / international market experience.Experience working across different countries, regions or markets is strongly preferred.Candidates with experience only within the UAE market will not be the primary target for this position.Exposure to different commercial vehicle brands, operating environments, supply chains and market practices will be an advantage.🏢 Industry: Commercial Vehicles / Automotive💼 Function: Spare Parts | Inventory | After Sales | Supply ChainIf you have strong commercial vehicle spare parts and inventory management experience, particularly across multiple international markets, we would like to hear from you.
