قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجSpare Parts ManagerLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAEIndustry: Heavy Equipment / Cranes / Material HandlingTeam Size: 5 Direct ReportsAbout the RoleOne of our key clients is seeking an experienced Spare Parts Manager to lead their Parts Department and ensure the efficient procurement, inventory management, and distribution of spare parts for cranes and heavy lifting equipment.The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining optimal stock availability, supporting service operations, managing supplier relationships, controlling costs, and delivering exceptional support to internal and external stakeholders.This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional with strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment spare parts, inventory management expertise, and leadership capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory ManagementManage and maintain accurate inventory records for crane spare parts, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to prevent stock shortages and excess inventory.Conduct regular inventory audits and implement effective stock control procedures.Develop inventory optimization strategies to improve availability and reduce carrying costs.Procurement & Supplier ManagementSource, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards.Monitor supplier performance, pricing, delivery schedules, and lead times.Establish strong vendor relationships to enhance supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop the spare parts team, including warehouse personnel and inventory controllers.Allocate responsibilities and monitor performance against departmental objectives and KPIs.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.Service & Customer SupportCollaborate closely with the Service and Maintenance teams to ensure timely availability of required parts.Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical and logistical spare parts issues.Provide accurate information regarding stock availability, lead times, and part delivery schedules.Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient parts support.Reporting & Cost ControlPrepare and analyze reports related to inventory levels, procurement activities, consumption trends, and budget performance.Monitor and control spare parts expenditure to optimize operational costs.Identify opportunities for process improvements across inventory management and procurement functions.Provide management with data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making.What You'll BringRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 10 years of experience in Spare Parts Management, preferably within cranes, heavy equipment, construction equipment, or industrial machinery.Strong technical understanding of crane components, hydraulics, and electrical systems.Hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is mandatory.Excellent leadership, negotiation, planning, and organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a commercial mindset.Preferred Experience7 to 10+ years of experience in a managerial position within spare parts, inventory, materials management, or supply chain operations.Experience working with OEMs, distributors, and heavy equipment service operations.Proven track record in inventory optimization and supplier performance management
