We’re looking for an engineer who already uses AI tooling (Claude Code, BMAD, Cursor) as core workflow - not someone who’s “interested in AI.” You should be able to take a business problem and deliver a production-ready system end-to-end, solo if needed, at a pace that makes traditional teams uncomfortable. If you’ve built billing engines, payment integrations, or financial platform architecture - even better. If you’ve shipped products across both startup sprints and enterprise-grade delivery - you’ll thrive here. We follow a disciplined, specification-driven approach to AI-assisted development:BMAD Method — Structured AI-assisted delivery: PRDs, architecture docs, and technical specs are created before a single line of code is generated. AI accelerates execution, not replaces thinking. Spec-Driven Developaent (SDD) — Every feature starts with a clear specification. AI tools execute against specs, not vibes. The spec is the source of truth — not the chat history. Claude Code — Our primary AI development tool. You’ll use it daily for implementation, refactoring, and testing. Proficiency is expected, not optional. Agentic Workflows: We design AI agents that learn from operational data, automate decisions, and execute multi-step processes If your idea of AI development is typing “make me a dashboard” into a prompt and shipping whatever comes back - this is not the role for you. We use AI to move 10x faster while maintaining architecture, test coverage, and production-grade standards. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, test, and deploy full-stack systems, including backend services, frontend UIs, APIs, and data flows.Own features from specifications through deployment, including architecture documents, BMAD, PRDs, technical specifications, and implementation plans.Follow a disciplined, spec-driven development process.Build AI-assisted workflows and intelligent agents that automate multi-step processes and respond to real-time data.Design and integrate billing, payment, and financial systems using processor-agnostic architectures.Collaborate directly with domain experts embedded in client operations.Own architecture decisions, technology selection, deployment strategy, and continuous improvement based on client feedback.Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and production ready.Qualification and Experience:5–8+ years of professional software engineering experience across startup and enterprise environments.Strong full-stack development experience with:. NET / ASP.NET Core (with Design Pattern and Standard) ReactJS or AngularJS, Node.js with TypeScript or JavaScript Ability to own the complete technology stack when needed.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, services.Strong experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and/or MongoDB.Solid understanding of data modeling, database design, and query optimization.Experience designing microservices, REST APIs, and web or mobile clients.Strong knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles.Practical experience with Docker and containerized deployment workflows.Experience integrating third-party APIs and external platforms.Proven use of AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, BMAD, Cursor, or equivalent tools.Ability to use AI tools in a disciplined, spec-driven manner while independently validating code quality, security, performance, and correctness.Strong ownership, problem-solving, communication, and technical decision-making skills.Preferred ExpertiseExperience designing and building AI agents, agentic workflows, and multi-step automation.Experience in ERP, CMS, FinTech, billing and payments, payroll, or mass-payout systems.Experience building real-time systems using WebRTC, SignalR, WebSockets, or event-driven architectures.Experience working with European based enterprise clients.Experience with Azure, AWS, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automationExperience working directly with business and domain experts to translate operational requirements into scalable software.Why Melior?At Melior, we place a premium on recruiting, nurturing, and developing exceptional talent across the organization while fostering diversity.
