Special Education Teacher – Middle School Resource

Location: Fairfield, CAWe are hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to support middle school students in a resource setting.

This position focuses on helping students access grade-level curriculum while receiving individualized academic, behavioral, and executive-function support.Responsibilities include:Provide specialized instruction to middle school students with IEPs in a resource settingManage a caseload, including writing and updating IEPs, progress reports, and present levelsAttend and participate in IEP meetingsCollaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and familiesSupport accommodations, modifications, and inclusion services across school settingsMonitor student progress and adjust instruction as neededMaintain accurate, compliant special education documentation

Requirements

Active California Education Specialist credential or eligible California SPED credentialMiddle school special education/resource experience preferredStrong knowledge of IEP processes, compliance, and differentiated instructionAbility to build positive relationships with students, families, and school teamsFull-time, school-based position with competitive weekly pay and benefits available.
