Position: Special Educator (Full-time)(for Children & Adults with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities)Reporting to: Program CoordinatorOn-site location: Dwarka, West DelhiAshish Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities through inclusive education, therapy, and skill development. We believe every individual deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and lead a meaningful life.We are looking for a Special Educator based in Delhi who is an enthusiastic, dedicated professional committed to serving children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. They approach their role with compassion and respect, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment for all students. Male candidates would be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus would be the holistic development of students, encompassing their physical, emotional, cognitive, and social growth. This involves collaboration with parents, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other teachers to support and enhance each student's overall well-being and academic success.Coordinate with the Assistant Teacher to ensure they can support your efforts in meeting each student's needs and can effectively step in if you are unexpectedly absent. Ensure an Individual Development Plan (IDP) is created for each Student in your classroom in consultation with Parents, OT, PT, Speech Therapist, Program Coordinator, and other Teaching staff.Responsible for evaluating and updating the IDP once every three months to ensure proper development and progress of each student.Prepare lessons and develop weekly goals for each student based on their IDP.Based on the annual achievements of the students, develop a one-page profile & Annual Progress report.Build good relationships with parents and ensure their availability for meetings (one-to-one meetings, PDS, PTMs, and any emergency call to parents).Adhere to all AFDA policies and procedures.

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Special Education (RCI registered)Experience with children with Autism and intellectual disabilityCompassion, creativity, and teamwork skillsCollaborative skills for working with a multi-disciplinary teamCommitment to mentoring families and participating in community awareness initiativesAdditionally, be ready and proactive to participate in community awareness initiatives and training sessions.Apply by sending your CV to recruitments@ashishfoundation.co.in by 12th October 2026.
