Leadership and Strategy* Develop and implement the school’s inclusion and SEN policy.* Promote an inclusive culture where all students can thrive.* Lead the strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation of SEN provision.* Advise the leadership team on inclusion-related matters and resource allocation.2. Student Identification and Support* Coordinate the early identification and assessment of students with additional learning needs.* Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Learning Support Plans, or Student Support Plans.* Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.* Maintain accurate and confidential student records.3. Teaching and Learning* Support teachers in differentiating instruction and assessment.* Model effective inclusive teaching practices.* Recommend appropriate accommodations and modifications.* Ensure reasonable adjustments are implemented consistently across classrooms.4. Collaboration* Work closely with classroom teachers, counsellors, psychologists, therapists, and external specialists.* Build strong partnerships with parents and guardians through regular communication.* Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case conferences.5. Staff Development* Plan and deliver professional learning on inclusive education and differentiation.* Coach teachers on effective strategies for supporting diverse learners.* Keep staff informed of current research and best practices.6. Assessment and Transition* Coordinate educational and psychoeducational assessments where appropriate.* Support smooth transitions between grade levels and programmes.* Assist with transition planning for students moving to new schools or post-secondary pathways.7. Compliance and Documentation* Ensure compliance with school policies and relevant educational regulations.* Maintain SEN registers and documentation.* Prepare reports for leadership, accreditation, or inspection visits.8. Resource Management* Coordinate learning support staff and teaching assistants.* Manage SEN resources and budgets where applicable.* Recommend assistive technologies and learning resources.Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).* Specialist qualification or certification in Special Education/Inclusion.* Teaching qualification with relevant classroom experience.* Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.Knowledge and Skills* Strong understanding of learning differences, neurodiversity, and inclusive education.* Knowledge of differentiated instruction and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).* Familiarity with assessment tools and intervention strategies.* Excellent communication, coaching, and collaboration skills.* Strong organisational and documentation skills.* Ability to analyse student data and develop targeted interven
