About the Role

SAIS, Umm Al Quwain, is seeking a qualified and passionate Islamic Studies Teacher B to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Islamic Studies to students, fostering a deep understanding of Islamic principles, culture, and ethics. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Islamic Studies, along with the ability to create an inclusive and respectful classroom environment that promotes spiritual growth and cultural appreciation.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Islamic Studies that align with the school curriculum.Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to explore and deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings and values.Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage students and accommodate different learning styles.Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations.Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about students' progress and any concerns.Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to promote a holistic educational experience.Participate in school events, activities, and Islamic cultural programs to enhance students' learning experiences.Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and attendance.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Studies.Teaching diploma or recognized teaching qualification.IELTS score of 6.5 or a minimum of 6.Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Islamic Studies.Strong communication and classroom management skills.A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students in their learning journey.Commitment to professional growth and development in education.
