We are hiring a cardiologist who specializes in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases of the heart and blood vessels Responsibilities They evaluate symptoms like chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, or irregular heartbeats. They use tools such as electrocardiograms (EKGs/ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, cardiac CT scans, and MRIs.They prescribe medications, recommend heart-healthy diets and exercise, and manage risk factors like high blood pressure and high cholesterol.Some cardiologists perform procedures like cardiac catheterizations or place stents to open blocked arteries, though they do not perform open-heart surgery (which is done by cardiothoracic or cardiac surgeons)QualificationsMD or Board CertificationRequired SkillsCommon Conditions They TreatCoronary Artery Disease: Blocked or narrowed arteries leading to the heart.
