We are currently recruiting for a specialist clinical pharmacist (Rotational) on behalf of our client, an established NHS Trust on the Isle of Wight.The roleThe purpose of the post is to develop and operate high quality clinical pharmacy services to a number of defined clinical areas within a rotation. This is a practitioner post, and the post holder would be expected to work on their own initiative within guidelines and directions from the Head of Clinical Pharmacy Services and to supervise Trainee pharmacists, junior pharmacists, and technical staff.The post holder will have involvement in policy writing, undertaking and initiating audit and active involvement in training and development of pharmacy staff and other healthcare professional groups.Potential to cover travel and/or accommodation costs if applicable!About youDegree or Master’s Degree in PharmacyRegistration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice or equivalent experienceCompleted General Level Foundation Framework competency trainingSignificant experience of working in a pharmaceutical environmentSignificant clinical pharmacy knowledge and experienceSignificant experience of working in hospital pharmacyKnowledge of national guidelines relating to medicines and pharmaceutical practiceSpecialist knowledge and experience within a relevant clinical specialityAbility to lead change and hold others to account.Demonstrate an understanding of commissioning dynamics.If you are interested in finding out more please message or call on 0161 676 8822 for a chat.
