Specialist – Cloud Security & AI Security

JOB PURPOSEImplement and operate cloud and AI security controls across Azure, Microsoft 365, hybrid environments and approved AI/ML and agentic AI platforms, with a strong focus on secure AI deployment, testing, guardrails, identity, data protection, monitoring and remediation.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESPerform security reviews for Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry/Services, Azure Machine Learning, Copilot Studio and approved third-party AI platforms.Assess prompt injection, jailbreak, insecure output handling, excessive agency, tool abuse, data leakage and AI supply-chain risks.Validate secure RAG, content-safety controls, human approval gates, logging, rate limits and action boundaries.Maintain inventories of AI agents, owners, environments, permissions, connectors, data sources and risk status.Operate CSPM/CNAPP and workload-protection controls using Microsoft Defender for Cloud or equivalent tools.Review managed identities, service principals, APIs, Key Vault, private endpoints, network isolation and encryption controls.Support DevSecOps controls including IaC, dependency, secret and container scanning.Investigate cloud and AI security alerts, preserve evidence, support containment and track remediation.Maintain procedures, test cases, dashboards and technical documentation.JOB SPECIFICATIONSTechnical SkillsAzure and Microsoft 365 security; Defender for Cloud; CSPM/CNAPP.Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry/Services, secure RAG, agentic AI security and AI guardrails.IAM, managed identities, API security, private connectivity and DevSecOps.Working knowledge of NIST AI RMF and OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications.CertificationsPreferred: AZ-500, SC-100 or AI-102.Preferred: CCSP, CCSK, CISSP, CISM or equivalent.Preferred: AI/ML security, OWASP LLM, Kubernetes security or DevSecOps training.Minimum Work Experience5+ years of cybersecurity experience, including hands-on cloud-security experience and practical exposure to AI/ML, GenAI or agentic AI security.EducationBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT, Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
