Specialist - Delivery Operations & Commercial ReportingWe are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage delivery operations, governance activities, commercial finance and project delivery data repositories, contractor engagements, KPI tracking, and financial reporting. The role will ensure data accuracy, smooth operational execution, timely reporting, and effective stakeholder coordination while leveraging Excel, AI tools, and prompt engineering to improve efficiency and standardize processes.The successful candidate will have strong Excel and data management skills, practical AI prompt engineering experience, financial reporting capabilities, and the ability to coordinate across project delivery, finance, business units, and third-party contractors.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day delivery operations and governance activities, coordinating teams to track actions, deadlines, compliance, and review cycles.Identify operational issues, risks, and delays, resolving or escalating them promptly.Maintain commercial finance and project delivery/governance data repositories, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timely updates.Perform data validation, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution with relevant stakeholders.Maintain project records, status updates, governance information, data definitions, update schedules, and version controls.Manage third-party contractor engagements, including onboarding, tracking, renewals, and record maintenance.Verify contractor invoices against engagement terms, coordinate approvals, follow up on payments, and align invoicing data with project and financial records.Track project and business unit KPIs against targets, identify performance gaps, risks, and trends, and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.Support the definition and standardization of KPI metrics and measurement methods.Prepare periodic financial reports for management and stakeholders, providing variance analysis and supporting commentary while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.Use AI tools and prompt engineering to improve reporting, data validation, analysis, summaries, and communication drafts.Develop reusable AI prompts, templates, and workflows to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and continuously enhance operational and reporting processes.Required Qualifications & ExperienceStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data cleaning, reconciliation, and report building.Strong practical knowledge of AI tools and prompt engineering for data analysis, reporting, documentation, and workflow automation.Experience in delivery operations, project governance, commercial finance support, data management, KPI reporting, or financial reporting.Understanding of financial data management, variance analysis, invoice verification, and reporting processes.Experience maintaining structured data repositories, validating data quality, and resolving discrepancies across multiple sources.Experience coordinating contractor engagements, invoicing, approvals, renewals, and payment follow-ups.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams, contractors, and senior stakeholders.Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Strong stakeholder coordination, problem-solving, and follow-up skills, with a proactive approach to identifying risks and improving processes.
