The specialist will provide comprehensive endocrine care, including diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, metabolic diseases, and other hormonal imbalances. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiology and pediatric specialists when required. The role also involves keeping detailed medical records, participating in clinical meetings, contributing to patient education, and adhering to local regulatory and ethical standards of medical practice. The specialist is expected to stay updated with current endocrinology research and guidelines and participate in continuous professional development.Strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Endocrinology, with experience managing a broad range of hormonal and metabolic disorders.Demonstrated proficiency in the diagnosis and management of Diabetes, including complex and chronic cases.Experience or training in Pediatric Endocrinology to manage endocrine conditions in children and adolescents.Ability to collaborate effectively with Cardiology and other relevant specialties to manage patients with multi-system conditions.Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship or specialization in Endocrinology.Valid medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure to practice in Kuwait, meeting local regulatory requirements.Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety.Effective communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and ability to work within diverse multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency in medical documentation and use of electronic health record systems; English language proficiency, with Arabic considered an Mandatory.
