The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders, while providing high-quality, evidence-based and patient-centered care.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive consultations, medical histories, and physical examinations for patients with gastrointestinal conditionsDiagnose and manage disorders involving the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, gallbladder, and pancreasManage common and complex conditions including GERD, gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, IBS, inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, hepatitis, fatty liver disease, and other GI disordersRequest, interpret, and correlate laboratory tests, imaging, endoscopy, histopathology, and other diagnostic investigationsPerform or assist with appropriate gastroenterology procedures within the physician's licensed scope and competencyProvide appropriate pre-procedure and post-procedure patient managementDevelop individualized treatment plans and communicate diagnoses, treatment options, risks, and follow-up requirements clearly to patients and familiesMaintain accurate, confidential, and timely medical recordsCollaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, internists, and other multidisciplinary teams when requiredParticipate in clinical meetings, quality-improvement initiatives, audits, and continuing professional developmentFollow applicable UAE healthcare regulations, clinical guidelines, infection-control standards, and facility policiesMaintain professional licensure, credentialing, and continuing education requirementsRequirementsQualificationsMBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institutionRecognized postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology and/or Internal Medicine with appropriate gastroenterology specializationRelevant experience working as a Gastroenterology SpecialistValid DHA license/eligibility or eligibility to obtain a Dubai professional licenseMeets the applicable UAE Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR) for the Specialist titleCurrent professional registration and relevant Good Standing documentation, where applicableBenefitsCompetitive salary packagePerformance-based incentives, where applicableMedical insurance and other employment benefits according to company policyProfessional development and CME opportunitiesSupportive multidisciplinary clinical environmentModern healthcare facilities and diagnostic infrastructure
