We are in search of individuals who can champion MBCC's DNA by:Communicating Honestly, Transparently, and Acting with IntegrityExhibiting a Results-Driven approachDelivering solutions that are Fit for PurposeDedicating themselves to Building a Sustainable LegacyTaking Responsibility and being AccountableCommitting to Zero HarmCultivating strong and meaningful PartnershipsIf you're ready to contribute to our world-class team while embracing these values, we encourage you to apply and become a valued member of our diverse workforce.Responsibilities:Risk Management & Critical ControlsConduct workplace risk assessments, hazard identification, JHA/JSA and field-level risk assessments across underground and surface operations.Support implementation and verification of Fatal Risk and Critical Control requirements, including Critical Control Verification (CCV).Monitor compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), energy isolation/LOTO, working at heights, confined space, lifting and other high-risk work requirements.Participate in Management of Change (MOC) risk assessments for new equipment, processes and operational changes.Mining & Operational SafetyConduct regular field inspections across underground mine workings, processing facilities, workshops and other operational areas.Monitor controls associated with underground mining hazards including ground control, mobile equipment interaction, explosives and blasting, ventilation, fire and emergency preparedness.Verify compliance with traffic management plans, exclusion zones and pedestrian/mobile equipment segregation.Work closely with Mining, Processing, Maintenance and Technical Services teams to ensure effective OHS controls are integrated into operational activities.Occupational HealthSupport identification and management of occupational health exposures including heat stress, hazardous substances, gases, diesel particulate matter and ergonomic risks.Support occupational hygiene monitoring programs and implementation of corrective actions arising from exposure assessments.Promote appropriate use of PPE and occupational health controls in accordance with the hierarchy of controls.Incident Investigation & AssuranceParticipate in incident, near-miss and high-potential event investigations using ICAM, RCA or other approved investigation methodologies.Conduct PTOs, workplace inspections, safety observations, audits and Critical Control Verification activities.Track corrective actions and audit findings through effective closure.Analyze OHS incidents, hazards, near misses and control failures to identify trends and improvement opportunities.Training & Safety LeadershipFacilitate safety inductions, toolbox talks and OHS awareness sessions for employees and contractors.Provide field coaching and guidance to employees and supervisors on OHS standards and safe work practices.Promote proactive hazard reporting, Stop Work Authority and visible safety leadership.Qualification Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Safety Management, Engineering, Science or a related discipline, or equivalent.Fluent in English and Arabic.Knowledge of Saudi HCIS and SAF safety regulations.Competent in risk assessment, incident investigation, and audit execution.NEBOSH / OSHA / ISO 45001 Certification preferred.Experience and Skills Requirements:Minimum 2–3 years of relevant OHS experience, preferably within mining, processing, heavy industry or another high-risk operational environment.Exposure to document control and reporting platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Isometrix, iAuditor, SAP).Additional experience in ISO 45001 implementation, IOSH, JHA, or FRA is an advantage.Strong attention to detail and an effective communicator across all levels.Problem-solving mindset with the ability to lead safety toolbox talks and training.Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive with a safety-driven mindset.What We Can Offer You:A comprehensive compensation package including bonuses and site-specific benefitsThe ability to make a difference and lasting impactWork in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing teamOpportunities to grow and learn with industry colleaguesAccess to a variety of career opportunities across the organizationPlease forward applications before: 04 Sep 2026We are committed to a safe work environment sending every person home safe and healthy every day and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities.Thank you for your application, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
