Specialist in Paediatric/Emergency Medicine

🖍️ Qualifications✅️M.B;B.S or other equivalent recognized by Singapore Medical Council, and ✅️MRCPCH🌱Prior experience (at least 2 years) in a Paediatric Emergency Department, or in a role that covers the Emergency Department that sees patients < 18 years old🌏Not restricted to Singaporeans/Permanent Residents 🚑 Job description: 1. Deliver Paediatric and Adolescent care with a focus on Paediatric Emergency Medicine in the Paediatric ED in NUH 2. Lead teams in stabilizing and resuscitating critically ill and injured children and adolescents, including complex medical and surgical cases3. Refine competencies in polytrauma, disaster medicine, orthopaedic, psychiatric, wound management and burns, Ear/Nose/Throat and Ophthalmology.4. Work a shift-work pattern including day, afternoon, evening and night shifts in the Children Emergency and Children's Urgent Care Clinic 5. Supervise and guide juniors in management of cases 6. Conduct and lead educational sessions with junior doctors over topics pertaining to paediatric emergency care7. Conduct research in Paediatric Emergency Medicine 8. Drive Quality Improvement efforts, national-based health initiatives and community outreach
