The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, surgical management, and ongoing care of patients with disorders of the brain, spine, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system.The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical and surgical expertise, sound decision-making, excellent patient communication, and a commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care..Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive neurological and neurosurgical consultations and clinical assessmentsDiagnose and manage a broad range of neurosurgical conditions affecting the brain, spine, spinal cord, and peripheral nervesReview and interpret MRI, CT, angiography, and other relevant diagnostic investigationsDevelop individualized surgical and non-surgical treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needsPerform neurosurgical procedures within the physician's licensed scope, clinical competency, and hospital privilegesManage elective and emergency neurosurgical cases as requiredProvide pre-operative evaluation, surgical counseling, informed consent, and risk assessmentProvide comprehensive post-operative care and monitor patients for complications and recoveryManage patients with traumatic, degenerative, vascular, oncological, congenital, and other neurosurgical conditionsCollaborate with neurologists, neuroradiologists, oncologists, orthopedic/spine surgeons, intensivists, anesthesiologists, rehabilitation specialists, and other multidisciplinary teamsProvide appropriate patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks, expected outcomes, and recoveryMaintain complete, accurate, and confidential medical records, including consultation notes, operative reports, and follow-up documentationParticipate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality-improvement initiatives, and continuing medical educationFollow DHA regulations, hospital policies, infection-control standards, patient-safety requirements, and applicable professional guidelinesRequirementsQualificationsMBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institutionRecognized postgraduate qualification in Neurosurgery or an equivalent specialty qualificationRelevant specialist clinical and surgical experienceValid DHA Specialist license/eligibility or eligibility to obtain a professional license in DubaiMeets the applicable UAE Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR) for the Specialist titleCurrent professional registration and relevant Good Standing documentation, where applicableAppropriate surgical credentials and hospital privileges for the procedures performedBenefitsCompetitive salary packagePerformance-based incentives, where applicableMedical insurance and other benefits according to company policyContinuing medical education and professional development opportunitiesAccess to modern diagnostic and surgical facilitiesSupportive multidisciplinary clinical environment
