The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of neurological and neurosurgical conditions, with a strong commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive consultation, assessment, diagnosis, and surgical management of neurosurgical conditionsEvaluate and manage patients with brain, spinal, cranial nerve, and peripheral nerve disordersPerform appropriate elective and emergency neurosurgical procedures within the scope of clinical expertiseManage brain tumors, spinal tumors, traumatic brain injuries, and other intracranial conditionsDiagnose and manage degenerative and traumatic spinal disordersPerform appropriate spinal procedures, including decompression and other surgical interventions where appropriately trainedEvaluate patients with hydrocephalus, intracranial pressure disorders, vascular conditions, and other neurological surgical conditionsParticipate in the management of neurotrauma and emergency neurosurgical cases where requiredConduct pre-operative assessment, surgical planning, informed consent, and post-operative follow-upMonitor patients for neurological and surgical complications and provide appropriate managementCollaborate with neurologists, neuroradiologists, oncologists, intensivists, rehabilitation specialists, and other multidisciplinary teamsReview and interpret relevant MRI, CT, angiography, and other neuroimaging studies to support clinical decision-makingProvide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks, recovery, and follow-upMaintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with clinical governance and patient-safety standardsParticipate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, research, and CME activitiesRequirementsQualificationsMBBS/MD or equivalent medical degreeRecognized postgraduate qualification in NeurosurgeryBoard certification or equivalent recognized specialist qualificationMinimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in NeurosurgeryStrong experience in general neurosurgery and the surgical management of brain and spinal conditionsExperience in cranial and/or spinal neurosurgery is highly desirableExperience managing emergency neurosurgical and neurotrauma cases is an advantageEligible for DHA Specialist classification/license in DubaiExcellent surgical, clinical, communication, and patient-management skillsBenefitsCompetitive salary and attractive benefits packageMedical insuranceAnnual paid leave and other benefits as per UAE Labour Law and facility policyProfessional development and CME opportunitiesModern multidisciplinary healthcare environmentLicensing assistance available for eligible candidates
