ZFZ Express values professionalism, continuous learning, and respectful, inclusive interactions with patients and colleagues.Role Description The Specialist Orthodontist will provide comprehensive orthodontic assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients of varying ages and clinical needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical examinations, interpreting diagnostic records, recommending appropriate treatment options, and performing orthodontic procedures such as appliance placement, adjustments, and follow-up care. The role also involves educating patients and families about treatment plans, oral health maintenance, and expected outcomes, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to infection control protocols. The Specialist Orthodontist will collaborate with general dentists and other dental professionals to coordinate patient care and support overall practice objectives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah.QualificationsStrong foundation in Medicine and Dentistry, with the ability to integrate general health and dental considerations into orthodontic care.Advanced expertise in Orthodontics, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of malocclusions and dentofacial irregularities.Proficiency in Treatment and Dental Care, including preventive, restorative, and long-term maintenance approaches that support orthodontic outcomes.Recognized degree in Dentistry (DDS/DMD or equivalent) and completed specialist training or residency in Orthodontics; valid license or eligibility to practice in the UAE.Strong clinical decision-making skills, attention to detail, and commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.Effective communication skills for explaining complex treatment options, obtaining informed consent, and working within a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, manage multiple cases, and maintain accurate, compliant patient records.Interest in ongoing professional development and familiarity with current orthodontic technologies and techniques (e.g., clear aligners, digital imaging) is an advantage.
