Located in Al Satwa, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the clinic emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and comfort in a professional and collaborative environment.Role DescriptionThe Orthodontist (with General Dentistry capability) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves diagnosing orthodontic conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing a full range of orthodontic treatments, including braces, aligners, and other corrective appliances. Alongside orthodontic care, the role includes general dentistry work such as examinations, scaling, restorations, extractions, and routine dental treatment, so that chair time is used across the full patient mix. Day-to-day tasks include conducting clinical assessments, interpreting radiographs and other diagnostic records, adjusting appliances, monitoring treatment progress, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. The Orthodontist will collaborate with the Medical Director and other dental professionals, provide clear treatment information and education to patients and families, and maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in a NABIDH-compliant EMR. The role also includes participating in case discussions, adhering to DHA regulatory and clinic protocols, and contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment.QualificationsSpecialized expertise in Orthodontics, including diagnosis, treatment planning, appliance therapy, and management of complex malocclusions.Proven ability to perform general dentistry procedures independently, including restorations, extractions, scaling, and basic endodontic care.Proficiency in delivering comprehensive Treatment and Dental Care, with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and long-term oral health outcomes.Recognized dental degree and formal specialization in Orthodontics from an accredited institution.Valid DHA license or eligibility to practice in Dubai, with a licence category that covers both orthodontics and general dentistry (please state your licence category and scope when applying).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain treatment options clearly and build patient trust.Strong attention to detail, clinical documentation skills, and adherence to infection control and clinical protocols.Experience with digital orthodontic tools and modern orthodontic systems (e.g., clear aligners) is an advantage.Knowledge of Tagalog alongside English is an advantage.Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration within a multidisciplinary dental team.
