Specialist Pediatric Surgeon

We are seeking a highly qualified, dedicated, and experienced Specialist Pediatric Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE.The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in diagnosing, treating, and surgically managing a wide range of pediatric conditions, including congenital abnormalities, gastrointestinal disorders, traumatic injuries, and other complex surgical conditions affecting newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and manage surgical conditions in neonates, infants, children, and adolescents.Perform a wide range of pediatric surgical procedures, including elective, emergency, and minimally invasive surgeries.Diagnose and treat congenital malformations, gastrointestinal abnormalities, abdominal conditions, and pediatric surgical emergencies.Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.Provide postoperative care, monitor patient recovery, and manage potential surgical complications.Collaborate closely with pediatricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and other healthcare specialists.Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.Provide emergency surgical consultations and interventions when required.Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining diagnoses, surgical procedures, treatment options, and expected outcomes.Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.Qualifications & RequirementsMBBS / MBChB or equivalent recognized medical degree.Recognized postgraduate qualification or board certification in Pediatric Surgery.Relevant experience as a Specialist or Consultant Pediatric Surgeon.Proven expertise in performing complex pediatric surgical procedures.Strong knowledge of neonatal surgery, pediatric trauma management, and minimally invasive surgical techniques.Excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic abilities, and decision-making skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare environment.Commitment to maintaining high standards of medical ethics, professionalism, and patient safety.Key Skills & CompetenciesPediatric and Neonatal SurgeryMinimally Invasive Surgical ProceduresCongenital Anomaly ManagementPediatric Emergency and Trauma SurgeryPreoperative and Postoperative CareHow to ApplyQualified and interested candidates are invited to share their updated CV for consideration.
