Apply & track with Apply EdgeYou will provide comprehensive medical care to newborns, infants, children and adolescents, covering preventive care, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management. You will work closely with nurses, allied health professionals and other specialists to deliver safe, high-quality, family-centred care.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions in children from birth to adolescenceConduct well-child visits, growth and developmental monitoring, and routine health screeningsAdminister and advise on childhood immunisation programmes in line with UAE guidelinesManage common pediatric conditions such as respiratory, gastrointestinal, infectious and allergic illnessesIdentify developmental, behavioural and nutritional concerns and refer to specialists and therapists when neededProvide emergency and urgent care within the scope of pediatric practiceCounsel and educate parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition and developmentMaintain accurate, confidential medical records in line with UAE health regulations and data protection requirementsFollow DHA standards, infection control protocols and clinical governance guidelinesTake part in clinical audits, quality improvement and mentoring of junior staffRequirementsMedical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from a recognised institutionPostgraduate qualification or board certification in Pediatrics (MD/DNB/MRCPCH or equivalent)A minimum of 3 years of post-specialty experience in pediatricsA valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license as a Specialist Pediatrician, or eligibility to obtain one before startingStrong diagnostic skills and experience managing newborns, children and adolescentsExcellent communication in English.
