The successful candidate will provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery, while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, clinical quality, and ethical medical practice.The ideal candidate will have strong surgical expertise, excellent patient communication skills, and experience managing patients throughout the consultation, treatment, surgical, and post-operative phases.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient consultations, clinical assessments, and pre-operative evaluationsDevelop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, medical history, clinical findings, and treatment objectivesPerform plastic, reconstructive, and/or aesthetic surgical procedures within the physician's licensed scope and credentialed privilegesEvaluate patients for elective and reconstructive surgical procedures and determine appropriate surgical approachesPerform pre-operative counseling, obtain informed consent, and explain expected outcomes, risks, benefits, and potential complicationsProvide comprehensive post-operative care and monitor patients for complications and recoveryManage surgical wounds, scars, infections, and other post-operative issuesCollaborate with anesthesiologists, dermatologists, general surgeons, ENT specialists, maxillofacial surgeons, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals where appropriateMaintain accurate and confidential patient records, including consultation notes, operative reports, and follow-up documentationProvide appropriate patient education regarding recovery, wound care, lifestyle considerations, and realistic treatment outcomesParticipate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, departmental meetings, and continuing medical educationEnsure compliance with DHA regulations, hospital policies, infection-control requirements, and patient-safety standardsMaintain professional standards and ethical conduct in all patient interactionsRequirementsQualificationsMBBS, MD, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institutionRecognized postgraduate qualification in Plastic Surgery or equivalent specialty qualificationRelevant specialist clinical and surgical experienceValid DHA Specialist license/eligibility or eligibility to obtain a professional license in DubaiMeets the applicable UAE Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR) for the Specialist titleCurrent professional registration and Good Standing documentation, where applicableAppropriate surgical credentials and privileges for the procedures to be performedBenefitsCompetitive salary packagePerformance-based incentives, where applicableMedical insurance and other benefits according to company policyContinuing medical education and professional development opportunitiesModern surgical and clinical facilitiesSupportive multidisciplinary working environment
