A leading eye clinic in Dubai is seeking an experienced Retina Surgeon to join its specialist ophthalmology team.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Retina Surgeon with strong clinical and surgical expertise to advance their career within a modern ophthalmic healthcare environment and a well-established eye clinic.Role OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of a wide range of retinal and vitreoretinal conditions. The role requires strong hands-on surgical experience, sound clinical judgment, and expertise in managing complex retinal cases.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage a wide range of retinal and vitreoretinal disorders.Perform retinal and vitreoretinal surgical procedures as required.Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic and retinal examinations.Manage conditions including retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular disorders, and other retinal diseases.Perform appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic retinal procedures.Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and follow-up.Manage emergency retinal cases and provide timely surgical intervention.Collaborate with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.Maintain accurate patient records, surgical documentation, and clinical reports.Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and healthcare regulations.Stay updated with advancements in retinal and vitreoretinal surgery.RequirementsMedical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology.Additional fellowship or specialized training in Vitreoretinal Surgery / Retina is highly preferred.Proven experience as a Retina Surgeon with strong hands-on surgical expertise.Strong experience in retinal and vitreoretinal surgical procedures.Experience managing complex retinal conditions and surgical cases.Strong clinical decision-making and microsurgical skills.Valid DHA, DOH, MOH, SHA License or DHA Eligibility.Strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred ophthalmic care.What We OfferAED 25,000–35,000 (Tax-free salary).Annual airfare allowance.Medical insurance.Professional development opportunities.Modern ophthalmic clinical environment.
