Specialty Barista

Role Description The Specialty Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality specialty coffee and other beverages, following Roasters’ standards and recipes. Day-to-day tasks include operating espresso and brewing equipment, handling food preparation for light bites or accompaniments, and maintaining a clean, organized bar and customer area. The role involves engaging with guests, explaining coffee origins and brewing methods, and delivering attentive customer service to create memorable experiences. The Specialty Barista also assists with inventory checks, restocking supplies, and supporting team members during peak hours. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Roasters Specialty Coffee House in Dubai.QualificationsBarista skills, including espresso preparation, manual brewing methods, and basic latte art.Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage guests and manage busy service periods calmly.Strong Communication skills for explaining coffee profiles, menu items, and handling guest inquiries clearly and respectfully.Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow recipes and quality guidelines consistently.Knowledge of specialty coffee, origin characteristics, and brewing techniques, or willingness to learn.Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.Previous UAE barista or café experience is preferred; formal training or certification in coffee or hospitality is an advantage.
