Specialty Coffee Barista

Key Responsibilities• Prepare and serve specialty coffee beveragesaccording to company recipes and brand standards.• Calibrate espresso grinders and brewingequipment to maintain consistency in extraction and beverage quality.• Perform manual brewing methods such as V60,Chemex, French Press, AeroPress, and Cold Brew.• Ensure consistency in coffee taste, presentation, and overall beverage quality.• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of coffee equipment and workstations.• Educate guests on coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu offerings to enhance the customer experience.• Monitor coffee bean freshness and stock levels, reporting replenishment requirements when necessary.• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.• Support upselling of specialty beverages, retail products, and food items.• Assist in training junior baristas on coffee preparation, service standards, and equipment handling.Skills & QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience as a Specialty Coffee Barista in a specialty café or premium coffee environment.Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, grinder calibration, milk texturing, and manual brewing techniques.Understanding of coffee origins, processing methods, roast profiles, and flavor characteristics.Experience operating and maintaining professional espresso machines and coffee equipment.Passion for specialty coffee and continuous learning within the coffee industry.
