Urgent requirement for Specification Manager(Technical Specification, MEP Consulting or Business Development within UAE Construction market) is required for our client in Dubai ,UAEProven experience – Technical Specification, MEP Consulting or Business Development within UAE Construction market.Knowledge in Modular Plastic - UPVC, PP-R, and CPVC piping systemsDriving License Mandatory.In-depth understanding of international standards (BS, EN, DIN, ISO, ASTM) and UAE Fire & Life Safety Code.Experience working with UAE authorities (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defence, ADSSC/ADDC) for regulatory approvals and compliance.Role PurposeThe Specification Manager will serve as the primary technical and commercial liaison between Modern Plastic Industry LLC and the construction design community. The core objective is to ensure MPI products are specified and approved by major MEP consultants, architects, developers, and government authorities during the design and pre-tender phases of projects across the UAE.Key ResponsibilitiesSpecification & Consultant ManagementEngage proactively with top-tier MEP consultants and architectural firms to secure MPI’s inclusion in their Approved Vendor Lists (AVL).Identify and monitor mega-projects and infrastructure developments in early design stages to ensure brand-lock and specification.Conduct technical presentations, “Lunch & Learn” sessions, and CPD seminars to demonstrate MPI systems’ performance, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.Government & Authority LiaisonAct as the primary contact for UAE government bodies (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defence, ADSSC/ADDC).Ensure product certifications, test reports, and technical dossiers meet local regulatory requirements in both Arabic and English.Oversee submission and follow-up processes for technical approval certificates.Strategic Coordination & Technical SupportProvide strategic market intelligence to the Director, including competitor activity, pricing trends, and project pipeline health.Review project specifications and BOQs to deliver value-engineered solutions favoring MPI products.Collaborate with Sales and Estimation teams to ensure specified projects transition smoothly to procurement.Candidate ProfileQualificationsBachelor’s Degree.Professional-level English (mandatory); Arabic fluency is an advantage.Minimum 3 years of experience in technical specification, MEP consulting, or business development within the UAE construction market.Skills & CompetenciesStrong network within major consultancy firms (AECOM, WSP, AtkinsRéalis, Khatib & Alami).In-depth knowledge of international standards (BS, EN, DIN, ISO, ASTM) and UAE Fire & Life Safety Code.Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.Valid UAE Driving License.Work Environment & BenefitsStrategic, high-visibility role with direct impact on company growth.Career growth opportunities in a premier regional manufacturing firm.Competitive salary package, executive benefits, and performance-based incentives.Skills: construction,specification manager,mep
