Job Description (JD) – Speech Therapist / Speech Language PathologistLocation: Al Khobar, KSAEmployment Type: Full-time / Part-timePosition SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and qualified Speech Therapist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders in children and/or adults. The therapist will work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized therapy programs and improve communication outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessmentsDiagnose speech and language disordersDevelop individualized therapy and intervention plansProvide one-on-one and/or group therapy sessionsMaintain therapy records, progress reports, and clinical documentationEducate and guide parents/caregivers on home-based therapy techniquesCollaborate with doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and special educatorsMonitor patient progress and revise therapy plans when requiredUse evidence-based therapy methods and AAC tools where applicableParticipate in case discussions, awareness programs, and professional development activitiesQualification & EligibilityBASLP / MASLP (Bachelor's or Master's in Audiology & Speech Language Pathology)Valid SCFHS LicenseFreshers or experienced candidates may apply depending on organization requirementsStrong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skillsRequired SkillsClinical assessment and diagnosisTherapy planning and implementationDocumentation and report writingParent counseling and communicationTeam collaborationPatience, empathy, and child-friendly approachKnowledge of speech and language disorders and therapy techniquesProficiency in Arabic
