The role develops individualized therapy plans to improve patients' communication and swallowing abilities while working closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and evaluate patients with speech, language, communication, voice, and swallowing difficultiesDevelop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans based on patient needsProvide speech, language, communication, and swallowing therapy for patients as requiredMonitor patient progress and modify treatment plans according to clinical outcomesEducate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and ongoing rehabilitation needsMaintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with patient safety, quality, and hospital standardsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Therapy, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related fieldValid SCFHS professional classification and registration1–3 years of relevant clinical experience in speech and language therapy
