Sponsor Principal, Investment Banking Department

Responsibilities:Lead the execution of a full range of corporate finance services for Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) and if necessary, lead the execution of capital market and other corporate finance advisory transactions.Participate in defining the scope of due diligence reviews.Stay well-informed and provide guidance on key issues related to each sponsorship appointment.Together with other internal departments, to ensure the operation and transactions of Investment Banking Department to be in compliance with relevant laws, regulatory requirements, risk management protocols, and industry best practices.Develop and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders to foster business growth and trust.Oversee ad-hoc projects and provide strategic insights to support the firm's long-term objectives.RequirementsAt least 10 years of corporate finance experience, preferably in investment banking or other professional services industries.Extensive knowledge of listing rules and relevant regulatory requirements, capital markets, industry guidelines, with a proven track record in initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and equity capital market transactions.In-depth understanding of investment banking regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies.Licensed as a Principal for Type 6 regulated activity (Advising on Corporate Finance) by the Securities and Futures Commission.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).Willingness to travel frequently for work.
