You will work with active individuals and athletes to prevent injury, optimise physical performance, maintain musculoskeletal health and support lifelong participation in exercise and sport.About the RoleThe Sports Medicine Physician will play an important role within our Longevity Centre, providing specialist assessment and management of patients ranging from recreationally active adults to high-performing athletes.You will assess musculoskeletal health, physical performance, injury risk and exercise capacity, and develop personalised strategies to help patients remain active, strong and physically capable throughout their lives.The role will also involve close collaboration with the Centre's physicians and allied health professionals, together with appropriate cross-referral to EEMC's established multidisciplinary clinic, which provides chiropractic, physiotherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and rehabilitation services.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive sports medicine and musculoskeletal assessments.Diagnose and manage acute and chronic sports and exercise-related injuries.Assess injury risk, movement patterns, strength, mobility and physical function.Develop personalised treatment, rehabilitation and injury-prevention programmes.Provide evidence-based exercise and physical activity prescriptions.Support patients returning safely to sport and exercise following injury or surgery.Work with athletes and active individuals to optimise performance while reducing injury risk.Assess and manage common musculoskeletal conditions affecting active adults, including tendinopathies, joint pain, muscle injuries and overuse injuries.Support healthy ageing through the preservation of strength, mobility, balance, cardiovascular fitness and physical capacity.Provide guidance around training load, recovery and appropriate progression of exercise.Collaborate with physiotherapists, chiropractors, exercise professionals, nutrition specialists and other healthcare practitioners as appropriate.Identify patients who may benefit from additional medical investigation, laboratory testing or specialist referral.Monitor patient progress using objective functional and performance measures.Contribute to the development of sports medicine, exercise medicine and performance services within the new Longevity Centre.Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) requirements.Sports Medicine Within LongevityWe believe that physical capacity is a key component of health-span.Our aim is active later in life.Essential RequirementsDHA Licence or Eligibility Letter appropriate to the position.Recognised postgraduate qualification in Sports Medicine, Sports & Exercise Medicine or another relevant specialty, as appropriate to DHA licensing requirements.Minimum five years' post-qualification clinical experience.Strong clinical knowledge of sports medicine and musculoskeletal conditions.Excellent diagnostic, communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to evidence-based and patient-centred care.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary
