SQA Engineer

Devsinc is looking for a Software QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual testing, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a good understanding of software testing processes and Agile methodologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute test cases based on project requirements and specificationsPerform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testingIdentify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking toolsCollaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issuesVerify bug fixes and ensure software quality before releaseParticipate in test planning, requirement analysis, and sprint activitiesPrepare and maintain test documentation, test scenarios, and test reportsPerform cross-browser and cross-platform testing where applicableAssist in improving QA processes, testing strategies, and automation practicesEnsure software applications meet quality standards and business requirementsRequirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field1-2 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or software testingStrong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality softwareRequired SkillsManual Testing and Test Case DesignFunctional, Regression, Integration, and Smoke TestingBug Reporting and Defect TrackingKnowledge of Jira, Trello, or similar project management and bug-tracking toolsBasic understanding of SQL and database testingFamiliarity with API testing tools such as PostmanUnderstanding of Agile/Scrum methodologiesBasic knowledge of Git and version controlExposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is a plus
