SQA Engineer

With over 800 corporate clients and a global network in 13 countries, Windmills Group is recognized for its high-quality service and has received numerous awards from the Dubai Land Department and Real Estate Regulatory Agency.Job Summary:As a SQA Engineer, you will ensure software quality, reliability, and performance by testing applications, identifying defects, and validating new features. You will collaborate with developers and project teams to ensure applications meet business and technical requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong testing knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

➤ Create and execute test cases, scenarios, and plans based on requirements.➤ Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and system testing.➤ Conduct API testing using Postman and database validation using SQL/MySQL.➤ Identify, document, track, and verify defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.➤ Maintain QA documentation, report testing status, and collaborate with development teams.➤ Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and continuously improve QA processes and automation skills. Qualifications & Skills:➤ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.➤ 2+ years of professional experience in Software QA/Testing with strong manual testing skills.➤ Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and system testing.➤ Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman and SQL/database testing, preferably MySQL.➤ Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools, with an understanding of Agile/Scrum and automation testing.➤ Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
