SQL Developer

SQL / Power BI DeveloperSeeking a developer with strong Power BI and SQL skills to support reporting, dashboard development, and database-driven analytics initiatives. This role will work alongside an existing Power BI developer and SQL team, providing additional bandwidth for reporting requests and business intelligence projects.Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.Write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting, analysis, and data validation needs.Assist with database reporting, query performance tuning, and ad hoc data requests.Provide backup support for Power BI development efforts and help manage project workload.Leverage AI tools to improve productivity and development efficiency.Required Qualifications:Experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.Strong SQL skills, including querying databases, reporting, and basic to intermediate query optimization.Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and business teams.Nice to Have:Python experience.Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar).Work Arrangement:Preference for a hybrid schedule in Chantilly, VA per week, but this can be flexible.
