We're partnering with a market-leading consumer-facing business to appoint a commercially focused SQL & Business Performance Manager.This is a highly visible role sitting at the heart of the organisation, owning sales reporting, forecasting, performance analytics and dashboard development across a business generating over £1.5bn in revenue.The successful candidate will combine strong commercial finance experience with advanced data and reporting capabilities, using SQL, Power BI and Excel to transform complex data into actionable business insight.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn weekly and period-end sales and trading performance reporting.Develop and enhance SQL-driven reporting solutions and management dashboards.Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across a £1.5bn revenue base.Analyse promotional activity, marketing campaigns and commercial initiatives to assess ROI and business impact.Deliver KPI reporting and performance insights across financial and operational metrics.Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Revenue Management, Marketing, BI and Investor Relations.Translate large and complex datasets into clear commercial recommendations.Identify trends, risks and opportunities to improve business performance.Support external reporting requirements including interim and year-end trading updates.Manage and develop an analyst within the team.What We're Looking ForQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent commercial finance experience.Strong SQL capability is essential.Advanced Excel and Power BI experience.Proven track record manipulating and analysing large datasets.Experience building dashboards and automated reporting solutions.Strong FP&A, forecasting or commercial finance background.Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.Experience operating within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.Previous management or mentoring experience advantageous.Salary£80,000 to £88,000 basic plus annual bonus up to 25% and excellent wider bens packageHybrid working - 1 to 2 days office based
