We also serve K12 schools in the US, as well as international schools and other school groups all over the world.We’re united by our mission to support the education sector by reducing costs, offering staff more time to focus on their priorities, and working alongside leadership teams to achieve strategic goals.Why VenturEd?One trusted partner for all your school management needs25+ years of innovation in education technologyMicrosoft Open Education Analytics partnerSeamless integration across our solution suiteExtensive partner network offering added valueA Day in the LifeOwn and manage core accounting operations including AP, AR, Billing, General Ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting support, and compliance activities while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial controls.In this role you will:Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), billing, and General Ledger (GL) activities.Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, customer invoicing, and payment collections accurately and on time.Perform account reconciliations, including bank, vendor, customer, and balance sheet accounts.Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and ledger reviews.Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on collections, and resolve billing discrepancies.Prepare and analyze financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation as required.Assist with statutory compliance requirements, audits, and tax-related documentation.Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors/customers to resolve accounting and payment issues.Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation and efficiency initiatives within the finance function.We'd love to chat ifyou have...4+ years of experience in corporate / GL function or combination with public accounting;Collaborative work style that enhances team environment;Effective communicator with ability to influence at all levels of an organization;Highly motivated, flexible, while maintaining attention to detail;Excellent general ledger system, computer and business solutions software skills;A relevant University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required.Good People, Doing Good Things:Employees at VenturEd Solutions are techies and volunteers who strive to make the Company a great place to work.
