Sr. Analyst - Risk Management

The ALS Group is looking for a senior Insurance & Risk Management professional to join our Team. We have an opening in South Florida for someone with 5-7 years’ experience with insurance programs for larger commercial clients including risk management support – claims, contract review, insurance coverage analysis, policy renewals etc.The ALS Group is a fee-based consulting firm based in the NY Metro Area and Boca Raton Florida with clients throughout the USA. Due to an uptick in activity in the South Florida area, we see opportunities in Florida and would like to expand our presence in the Delray-Ft Lauderdale area. Our clients are larger ($500M-$3.0Bn average) middle-market companies in a variety of industry groups. Our ideal candidate can demonstrate knowledge and understanding of insurance coverages (CPCU, ARM, JD preferred) and have experience with large development projects including OCIPs, CCIPs and the coverage associated with same.Essential Functions: Manage multiple tasks that support client projects from beginning to end such as placing insurance coverage, full review of risk management and insurance programs, monitoring of client account administration, contract review including providing verbiage for suggested language to client in order to mitigate risk exposures;Pursue individual professional growth through continuing education;Conduct the setup of insurance policies according to Firm best practice with a focus on coverage analysis within each insurance policy placed for Clients assigned; Support the Account Manager with marketing and renewal of client insurance coverage; including monthly meetings to review marketing projects, action items and the policy specific reports used to identify timelines;Manage responsibilities for designated Clients keeping accurate business descriptions and underwriting summaries for all accounts assigned;Managing client open items and bringing all follow-up items to conclusion while preparing periodic(weekly) catch ups for Account Manager and Senior Staff;Maintain client insurance policy files electronically and Schedules Of Insurance (SOI) to ensure accuracy;Assist with other projects assigned by Senior Management.General requirements:5-7 years of Insurance & Risk Management experience;Ability to work in a team that manages a grouping of client engagements including all aspects of a client’s complex insurance program;Familiar with coverages such as Builders Risk, CPL, Contractors Professional;Knowledgeable with handling Workers Compensation and General Liability Claims in a previous role;Basic Job Functions:Manage multiple tasks that support the client engagement process from beginning to end demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills;Have a valid Property & Casualty license;Management of any client engagement related items that are open and bring to conclusion;Provide technical advisory to handle all client related requests/open items;The ALS Group offers a competitive salary, great benefit program and 401K with an employer contribution.
