The Sr Barista will prepare and serve specialty coffee and espresso-based beverages, oversee daily café operations, and support the bakehouse offerings to ensure product quality and consistency. This role includes welcoming guests, taking orders, handling payments, and providing attentive customer service while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace. The Sr Barista will help train junior team members, manage inventory and equipment upkeep, and uphold brand standards in beverage preparation and presentation. Collaboration with the roasting and bakehouse teams to introduce new menu items and improve service processes is also an important part of the role.Qualifications Strong barista skills, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and specialty coffee preparation.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a welcoming café environment.Clear communication skills for interacting with guests and coordinating with team members.Experience in food preparation or café/kitchen operations, with attention to hygiene and safety standards.Prior experience in a specialty coffee shop or café in a senior or lead barista role is preferred.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.Strong organizational skills and reliability in handling cash, inventory, and daily checklists.Passion for coffee, willingness to learn about roasting and brewing methods, and commitment to continuous improvement.
