Team members have the opportunity to contribute to the café’s culture, standards, and guest experience from the ground up.Role Description The Sr. Barista is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading daily beverage and café operations. This role includes preparing specialty coffee drinks and espresso-based beverages to defined recipes and quality standards, overseeing food preparation for baked items and café offerings, and ensuring a clean, organized workspace. The Sr. Barista will guide and support junior baristas, help manage inventory related to coffee and café supplies, and uphold consistent service and product quality. Day-to-day work includes engaging with guests, handling orders and payments, addressing questions about coffee and menu items, and contributing to a welcoming, customer-focused environment.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Barista experience, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, manual brewing methods, and basic coffee roasting knowledge.Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a hospitable café environment and build rapport with guests.Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with guests, teammates, and management.Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills, with attention to hygiene, presentation, and basic kitchen safety practices.Experience in a specialty coffee or café setting, including training or mentoring junior staff, is highly beneficial.Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts (including weekends and holidays), and manage busy service times efficiently.Basic POS operation and cash-handling skills; familiarity with café operations and inventory management is a plus.
