Sr Business Intelligence Analyst (Financial)

LaSalle Network is hiring for a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst (Financial) to join a collaborative team in Chicago. This is a high-impact Business Intelligence role for an experienced analyst who can take an ambiguous business question, figure out what needs to be done, and drive the work from requirements gathering through analysis, data modeling and reporting. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys solving complex problems, partnering with stakeholders and turning data into decisions. Healthcare experience is highly valued, and candidates with strong BI and analytics backgrounds outside of healthcare are encouraged to apply.What's the job?Partner with business and technical teams to translate business questions into analytical requirements, KPIs and reporting solutionsAnalyze complex data sets across multiple sources using SQL and advanced ExcelDevelop data models and enterprise dashboards using Tableau, Power BI or similar BI toolsBuild, maintain and enhance reporting products for financial and operational needsValidate, reconcile and QA data while applying established business rules and definitionsIdentify gaps, problems and opportunities for process improvement and automationIndependently manage projects, priorities, timelines and deliverablesPresent analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiencesMentor junior analysts and serve as a technical and analytical resource for the broader teamWhat's needed?5+ years of experience in data analytics or Business IntelligenceStrong SQL and data modeling experienceAdvanced Excel skillsExperience with Tableau, Power BI or another BI/visualization platformStrong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and take initiative from objective to completionExcellent written, verbal and stakeholder communication skillsHealthcare, financial, reimbursement, revenue cycle or clinical/operational data experience preferredExperience with data governance, automation or process improvement is a plusKey Details
