About the jobWe are seeking a Buyer to manage assortments across multiple product categories, analyze business performance, and identify opportunities for growth. This person will help shape assortment strategy, build trend-right product mixes, and deliver strong value across assigned classes. The role also partners closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to drive revenue, profitability, and market share.This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, with in-office collaboration three days per week.What You’ll DoDevelop category strategies and identify assortment opportunities across multiple product classesCreate assortment architecture and product roadmaps for owned and third-party offeringsCurate assortments that align with customer demand, market trends, and business goalsPartner with cross-functional teams including planning, merchandising, production, development, and marketingManage open-to-buy plans and help drive KPI performanceBuild and maintain strong vendor relationships and source new product opportunitiesNegotiate cost, quality, and delivery with vendor partnersTrack product performance, including best sellers, underperformers, and markdown opportunitiesSupport leadership reviews, presentations, and ad hoc business initiativesMentor junior team members when applicable and travel as neededWhat You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience4–6 years of retail buying experiencExperience in women’s apparel and/or accessories preferredStrong analytical skills, retail math knowledge, and business judgmentProven ability to drive KPI performance and support business growthStrong negotiation and vendor management skillsKnowledge of trends, the competitive landscape, and customer preferencesExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting prioritiesStrong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to meet deadlines
