Sr. CAE Engineer

Job Responsibilities for Senior Engineer:(1) Prepare CAE mesh model of BIW and sub-system using Altair HYPERMESH (Part types: Sheet metal, plastics, powertrain etc.; Mesh types: Mid surface/Solid tetra/hexa/Shell coat).(2) Assembly of BIW and sub-system including connections: experience in bolt, spot weld, sealer connections, etc.(3) Model quality check (mesh flow, connection etc.) - Initial model check run, debug and quality control in respective fields (Experience: min. 6 years)(4) Check the mesh and assembly quality.(5) Assembly of sub-systems (Closures, Seats, BIW etc.) and full vehicle with connection, contact etc.(6) Assign thickness, material for all parts as per information by MSIL guidelines.(7) Apply boundary condition as per respective domain loadcase.a. Crash: Frontal Impact.b. NVH: BIW Static Stiffness, Trimmed body Noise Transfer Function (NTF) and Equivalent Radiated Power (ERP)c. Strength: BIW Twist & Closure Slam(8) Performing initial model check runs & debug in respective domain solver. a. Crash: LS-Dyna. b. NVH: NASTRAN. c. Strength: NASTRAN and LS-Dyna.(9) Analysis model for connection, energy balance, normal mode and debug.(10) Training of Team Members.(11) Monitoring the work plan.
