Sr. Director of Perioperative Services

A Magnet-designated hospital in Connecticut is seeking a Senior Director of Nursing to lead perioperative services and multiple patient care areas across inpatient and outpatient settings. This is a chance to shape nursing strategy at an organization with a person-centered care philosophy, where shared governance is part of the culture.The Senior Director of Nursing will be responsible for:Overseeing 2+ clinical departments with 150+ FTEs, including Nurse Managers and Assistant Nurse ManagersDeveloping and executing organizational and nursing strategic plansManaging operating and capital budgets across multiple unitsDriving quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and patient experienceMentoring nurse leaders and leading clinical education and nursing affiliations

Requirements

Active RN license with ability to obtain a license in CT Master's in Nursing or Healthcare Administration (Doctorate preferred)CNOR certification highly preferred8+ years of progressive nursing leadership experience at the director levelExperience managing large budgets and interdisciplinary strategic initiatives
