Job Title: Electronics EngineerJob Type: Direct HireLocation: Sterling VAWork Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card HolderJob DescriptionAs an Electronics Engineer, you’ll design and develop high-performance mixed-signal hardware systems that power advanced technologies. You’ll contribute across the full hardware development lifecycle; from schematic capture and high-speed PCB layout to validation, calibration, and manufacturing transition.This role blends precision analog design, embedded systems development, and high-speed PCB expertise to ensure signal integrity, low-noise performance, and manufacturability. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform complex requirements into reliable, production-ready hardware solutions.Your Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesDesigning and developing analog and digital circuits for mixed-signal systemsCreating and reviewing multilayer PCB layouts (4–8+ layers) with controlled impedancePerforming high-speed routing including differential pairs, length matching, and stack-up definitionApplying signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) best practicesImplementing EMI/EMC-aware layout and grounding strategiesDeveloping schematics, selecting components, and analyzing datasheetsDesigning and integrating MCU-based embedded hardware systemsPerforming hardware bring-up, validation, debugging, and troubleshootingDeveloping test procedures and executing system calibrationSupporting prototype development and transition to manufacturing (DFM/DFT)Documenting designs, revisions, and validation results in alignment with company standardsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field3–7 years of experience in analog and digital hardware designStrong experience in high-speed multilayer PCB layoutExperience with controlled impedance routing and mixed-signal board designHands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzersExperience designing MCU-based embedded systemsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in precision analog front-end designKnowledge of EMI/EMC compliance and regulatory considerationsExperience in system-level testing and calibrationFamiliarity with industrial, power, or measurement systemsCore CompetenciesSafety: Proactively fosters a culture of safety in our lab and production environmentsInclusion: Appreciates and respects individuals from diverse backgrounds, identities, and valuesSpeed: Operates with urgency while maintaining technical rigor and qualityInnovation: Continuously seeks to simplify, improve, and optimize designs and processesJudgment: Exercises discretion and autonomy in solving complex technical challengesAccountability: Holds self and others to high standards of performance, precision, and reliability
