The role bridges technical lab activities and compliance execution to ensure boards meet global regulatory standards.Core ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement compliance processes for hardware boards across programsOwn regulatory documentation including risk assessments, DoC, CE, UKCA, and RoHS artifactsCoordinate with internal engineers to collect technical inputs for complianceEngage with test labs and certification bodies for compliance validationIdentify applicable standards and determine required tests for each boardTrack compliance readiness, risks, and documentation gapsEstablish reusable templates and scalable compliance workflowsSupport vendor selection, lab evaluation, and cost discussions

Technical Skills

Expertise in compliance standards: CE, UKCA, RoHS, DoCMust have knowledge of EMCD, LVD directives of CEMust have Product Compliance Testing ExperienceKnowledge of board-level compliance and certification flowExperience with risk assessment and regulatory documentationExperience with test lab processes and validation requirementsFunctional Skills:Compliance process definition and standardizationDocumentation lifecycle managementCross-functional coordination and stakeholder engagementVendor and lab capability assessmentRequirements consolidation and trackingBehavioral Skills:Strong communication and stakeholder managementAnalytical and structured problem solvingHigh ownership and accountabilityQualificationsExperience Requirements:6–10 years experience in hardware compliance or regulatory engineeringExperience with product compliance for hardware boards or systemsExposure to external certification labs or compliance agenciesTrack record in managing compliance documentation and certification workflowsEducation:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Hardware Engineering
