Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob DiscriptionLocation: DubaiCompensation: USD 100,000–120,000 fixed + 20%–30% variableWe are seeking a high-caliber Senior Executive Officer (SEO) to lead the growth, performance, profitability, and strategic development of the business.This is not a conventional sales leadership appointment. The mandate is designed for an established senior financial-services professional who combines commercial credibility, regulatory understanding, investment knowledge, financial acumen, and leadership maturity, with the capability to take broader enterprise responsibility over time.The successful candidate will ideally hold a CFA, Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA, or equivalent professional/academic qualification, and have current or recent exposure to the DIFC financial-services ecosystem.This role carries significant leadership responsibility across business growth, revenue generation, team performance, regulatory governance, and end-to-end P&L management.The SEO will be responsible for driving sustainable business growth while maintaining strong standards of governance, client suitability, regulatory compliance, profitability, and organizational performance.The role will have end-to-end ownership of the business P&L, with accountability for revenue growth, cost management, operating efficiency, margins, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial performance.Key priorities will include:Leading and developing a high-performing sales and advisory team.Taking ownership of the overall commercial performance and profitability of the business.Managing the end-to-end P&L, including revenue, expenses, operating margins, profitability, budgeting, and forecasting.Developing annual business plans, budgets, revenue forecasts, and financial targets in partnership with the CEO and Board.Monitoring business performance against agreed financial and operational KPIs and taking corrective action where required.Building a disciplined, performance-led sales culture with clear accountability and measurable outcomes.Developing and executing strategies for revenue growth, client acquisition, retention, and market expansion.Driving sustainable growth while ensuring an appropriate balance between revenue generation, cost efficiency, profitability, risk, and governance.Strengthening relationships with HNW and UHNW clients, family offices, institutional investors, and strategic partners.Supporting the CEO and Board in defining and executing the firm's strategic direction.Assuming progressively broader executive-management responsibilities as part of a defined CEO succession pathway.Ensuring the firm's commercial activities remain aligned with applicable DIFC and DFSA regulatory requirements.Working closely with Compliance, Risk, Operations, Finance, and other control functions to maintain appropriate governance and risk-management standards.Providing senior leadership around investment-advisory propositions, with particular emphasis on value-investing principles, fundamental analysis, and long-term capital preservation and growth.Identifying new opportunities across geographies, client segments, distribution channels, and strategic partnerships.Evaluating the financial and commercial viability of new business initiatives, markets, products, and partnerships.Managing and optimizing resources to ensure the business operates efficiently and delivers sustainable profitability.The ideal candidate will bring:CFA Charter holder, Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA, or equivalent professional/academic qualification.Current or recent experience within a DIFC-regulated financial-services business.Strong working knowledge of DIFC law and DFSA regulatory expectations.Significant experience in financial advisory, wealth management, asset management, private banking, investment advisory, or a closely related sector.A successful track record in sales leadership, business development, revenue generation, and profitable business growth.Proven experience managing or contributing significantly to end-to-end P&L responsibility.Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost management, profitability, margins, and financial performance.Previous experience at Head of Sales, Sales Director, Deputy CEO, SEO, Managing Director, Business Head, or equivalent senior-management level.Demonstrable success in achieving demanding commercial and revenue targets.Strong understanding of investment markets, advisory solutions, portfolio construction, and client investment needs.Meaningful knowledge of value investing and fundamental investment analysis.Experience managing and developing senior sales or advisory teams.Multi-country experience with exposure to diverse client bases, international markets, and geographically distributed teams.Strong executive presence and the ability to engage effectively with Boards, regulators, clients, investors, and senior stakeholders.Strong commercial and financial judgement with the ability to translate strategy into measurable business results.The
