Job DescriptionOur Opportunity:Chewy seeks a highly motivated, analytical, and enthusiastic Senior Financial Analyst to join our Commercial FP&A Finance team! Combining an understanding of Finance, and practical knowledge of financial documents while using data to make-and-drive decisions, this candidate will perform various financial planning and analysis processes to support key strategic decisions, drive Chewy growth, and ensure financial objectives are achieved.What You'll DoPerform modeling and analytics required to synthesize large sets of data and produce concise outputs to provide recommendations and/or conclusions to leadershipAid in the reporting and financial performance management frameworks for the business and help define key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall business performanceWork cross-functionally with the broader Chewy Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, Product, Supply Chain and Accounting teams to fully understand the business, systems, and overall operationsActively participate in strategic planning processes, target setting, and annual/quarterly planning processes by building & updating forecast models and creating alignment between business and finance teamsSupport financial reporting process for weekly and monthly business reviewsCoordinate the monthly close process ensuring books and records are accurately maintained in accordance with Chewy's policies and proceduresEffectively manage numerous projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentWhat You'll NeedBA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management or Economics3+ years relevant finance experience with a basic understanding of GAAP and grasp of financial statementsFinancial analysis and modeling skills, and experience in forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysisAdvanced Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP, Data tables, pivot tables, etc.) skillsAbility to think creatively, be a self-start, work independently, deal with ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines / prioritize changing workloadsStrong written and oral communication skillsBonusExperience with Hyperion Smartview, Tableau, Oracle ERP, SQL codingBring your skills. Apply today!The base salary range for this role is $86,500 - $152,500.00.The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.
