Sr. HR Specialist/Asst. Manager Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and proactive Sr. HR Specialist / Assistant Manager to join our HR Service Center (HRSC) team in East Bangalore. In this role, you will oversee and support core HR operations spanning payroll, benefits, staffing/onboarding, employee relations, and transaction management.You will be instrumental in ensuring operational efficiency across service center technology, partnering cross-functionally with HR Information Systems (HRIS), HR Program Managers, and tech specialists to deliver high-quality HR support.Key ResponsibilitiesHRSC Operations: Deliver end-to-end operational support across functional areas (payroll, benefits, onboarding, employee relations, and records maintenance).Tier-1 Support & Advisory: Act as the primary escalation point for managers, employees, and team members, providing clear interpretation of HR policies and practices.Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex inquiries by applying deep HR knowledge while maintaining strict compliance with company policies and legal regulations.Project & System Coordination: Collaborate on cross-functional HR initiatives, maintain accuracy in employee data processing, and partner with HRIS teams to optimize transaction workflows.Team Leadership & Reporting: Direct a team of 2 specialists, generate operational reports, and continuously recommend enhancements to HR policies and service delivery.Requirements & QualificationsExperience: 9 to 15 years of progressive experience in HR Shared Services / HRSC operations.Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Full-time MBA in HR is strongly preferred).Problem Solving: Proven capability in evaluating complex variables, developing independent solutions, and exercising high discretion and judgment.Stakeholder Management: Experienced in cross-functional coordination and communicating effectively with senior management and regional leadership.
