Sr. IT Transformation Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced Transformation IT Project Manager to lead a large-scale enterprise digital transformation initiative involving the migration of content and collaboration platforms from Box to Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive. The Project Manager will lead the transformation roadmap, drive cross-functional execution, manage stakeholder alignment, and ensure successful adoption of the new Microsoft 365 environment with minimal business disruption.The role requires strong experience managing complex technology transformation programs, cloud/platform migrations, organizational change, business readiness, and enterprise stakeholder engagement.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end IT transformation and migration initiatives, from strategy and planning through execution, adoption, and stabilization.Define project scope, objectives, transformation roadmap, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.Develop and manage detailed migration and transformation plans, including discovery, assessment, pilot, migration waves, cutover, validation, and post-migration stabilization.Drive cross-functional collaboration across business units, IT, architecture, engineering, security, infrastructure, compliance, and executive leadership.Establish project governance, operating cadence, status reporting, decision-making processes, and executive communications.Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.Partner with architects and engineering teams to drive data discovery, content assessment, migration strategy, technical readiness, and execution.Coordinate migration pilots and enterprise-wide rollout waves while ensuring business readiness for each phase.Identify and mitigate risks related to data integrity, permissions, security, downtime, user disruption, dependencies, and business continuity.Coordinate UAT, data validation, permissions validation, issue resolution, business sign-offs, and go-live readiness.Develop and execute stakeholder communication, change management, training, and user adoption strategies.Support the transition from Box to the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and promote adoption of SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.Coordinate development of project documentation, user guides, FAQs, training materials, support processes, and knowledge-transfer materials.Establish and track transformation KPIs, migration metrics, adoption metrics, milestones, and business outcomes.Provide regular executive-level reporting covering progress, risks, dependencies, financials, decisions, and transformation outcomes.Ensure the transformation aligns with enterprise security, compliance, governance, architecture, and information-management standards.Drive post-migration stabilization, lessons learned, continuous improvement, and transition to operational support.Required Qualifications10+ years of IT Project/Program Management experience, preferably within enterprise transformation, cloud migration, digital workplace, or technology modernization programs.Proven experience leading large-scale technology transformation or platform migration initiatives from planning through implementation and adoption.Experience delivering 2–3 end-to-end enterprise content, cloud, or collaboration platform migrations.Experience with Box, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and/or Teams.Strong understanding of enterprise migration concepts including data discovery, file structures, permissions, metadata, content assessment, validation, migration waves, and cutover planning.Experience working with migration technologies such as ShareGate, Microsoft Migration Manager, or comparable enterprise migration tools.Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.Proven experience managing complex stakeholder environments, executive communications, risks, dependencies, budgets, and cross-functional teams.Strong understanding of change management, business readiness, UAT, adoption, and organizational transformation.Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Confluence, or equivalent.Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
