Sr. Java Developer

We are seeking a hands-on Sr. Developer with a strong Java development background to design, integrate, and modernize enterprise applications.The ideal candidate is a Senior Java Developer who has architecture experience and wants to take on broader technical ownership while remaining hands-on.RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and evolve architecture across multiple interconnected enterprise systems.Develop hands-on Java solutions and contribute to system design.Design and support web services, integrations, and distributed applications.Provide code-level technical guidance and architectural reviews.Help modernize legacy applications, including Struts to Spring Boot migration.Support third-party integrations, payment/funding systems, underwriting workflows, and data integrations.Establish practical design patterns, standards, and technical roadmaps.Mentor engineers and serve as a technical escalation point.QUALIFICATIONS:In-depth software development experience, primarily in Java.Strong experience with MVC, Struts, and/or Spring Boot.Experience with web services and system integrations.Experience with distributed architecture.Strong experience with Hibernate/ORM.Experience with SQL and enterprise databases.Experience working in on-premises environments.Proven ability to design systems while remaining hands-on with development.
